This last quarter of 2022 officially begins and with it, the period of strong releases of the year intensifies very noticeably. As expected, we have high profile premieres that we’re sure you won’t want to miss. The good news is that there’s basically something for everyone, so there’s no room for complaint. Prepare your portfolio because it will probably have a considerable impact. Here we introduce you Here are five titles that we think deserve your attention the most and that will be released for various platforms over the next four weeks. We are waiting for you to tell us which one of them you are looking forward to the most
A Plague Story: Request
After wondering what A Plague Tale: Innocence was all about, we all thought that Team Asobo planned to turn their IP into a franchise with direct sequels, since said title was left with an open ending that suggested exactly what the story was. ‘ T over Well, despite having their hands full with Microsoft Flight Simulator, the developer studio has managed to work on A Plague Tale: Requiem, a title that, as we’ve been shown, will surpass its acclaimed predecessor in every way. It’s set to premiere on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 18, and if you live in one of the regions where the service works, you can play it on Nintendo Switch via the cloud.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
It’s unusual for Nintendo to lend Mario or any of his characters to a third party, however, a few years ago, it decided to collaborate very closely with Ubisoft to blend it with the world of its famous plumber. The result was Mad Rabbids, an interesting turn-based strategy game that was much better than some expected. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was a commercial success It hasn’t been long in coming so this October 20, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will arrive as that sequel exclusively to the Nintendo Switch. Needless to say, what’s been shown so far from this title looks extremely good and leaves us almost completely calm that we’ll get the experience we’ve been waiting for.
Gotham Knights
What Rocksteady accomplished with Batman in video games certainly goes down in history. After five games based on this franchise, there was complete silence and nothing about what specifically might happen with the Dark Knight in this medium. A while ago, we learned that Warner Bros. Montreal, who took on the awesome but Batman Arkham Origins a few years ago, will be lending their hand to continue that legacy. Thus we met Gotham Knights, a title that brings the series in a different way, but familiar at the same time. What’s been shown so far looks good and pretty solid, but we continue to question the true level of quality of the final product, which will be released this October 21 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. We cross our fingers that everything goes smoothly because yes, we already need a new Batman game.
Bayonetta 3
Yes we know. The wait was long and even annoying. Despite what was thought, the concept of Bayonet 3 wasn’t that grounded at Platinum Games, so it was undoubtedly announced much earlier than it should have been. The good news here is that all this is finally coming to an end, as the third part of our favorite magical adventure will be coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch on October 28 just to celebrate Halloween. The game has barely been shown, but the truth is that there is nothing to worry about, we are sure that Hideki Kamiya and his team are going to give us a memorable hack and slash that creates an era and will definitely be talked about. Weather for a long time. We can’t wait to get our hands on this game which, if we’re not careful, might even make it into the year’s contenders.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
New year, new call of duty. Yes we know. Activision’s franchise feels more worn than ever. His lack of fresh ideas is reflected in his recent titles, which simply owe a lot. In fact, we can say that if it wasn’t for Warzone, the series would probably be in trouble. However, in this 2022 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be launched to continue the reinterpretation of the sub saga that made such a stir in the first decade of the current century. What has been shown so far about its campaign and its multiplayer mode is not very exciting, since it is basically the same, however, there is always the possibility that we will be surprised and the popular FPS will return to its old glory. Let’s hope that now that it’s in Xbox’s hands and that it’s supposed to take a year off, it can be renewed, because it’s urgent. Its launch was agreed for October 28 on past and current generation consoles as well as PC.
