Even if the Xiaomi 13T Pro is not properly priced, it is priced lower than other top models. How does the camera work?
Xiaomi touts its new 13T series as particularly high-end, but the new devices are actually only second in line. Still, the company is certainly proud of the new Leica camera. But isn’t it? A preliminary comparison reveals strengths and weaknesses.
And here the 13T Pro has to compete with the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. These are two big fish and both devices cost significantly more. So the question arises whether the cheaper Xiaomi could possibly be an option, even if it doesn’t have a comparable level in theory.
In some comparison photos it is noticeable that Xiaomi often makes bright areas look too bright, details are visibly lacking, and strong colors (red, etc.) look oversaturated. The 13T Pro performs surprisingly well when shooting at night. But check out the video for yourself.
I think the 13T Pro isn’t a complete failure and certainly delivers decent quality. If you want significantly more, you’ll end up spending a lot more money, and that won’t change.
