This year’s TwitchCon brought together gamers and fans from around the world, physically and virtually, for an exciting weekend of gaming, meetups, creator camps, TwitchRivals and live entertainment.
For the first time ever, TwitchCon was held in Las Vegas to celebrate streamers, games, viewers, mods, cosplayers and the global Twitch community.
the time Opening Ceremony Twitch CEO Dan Clancy presented the latest updates to Twitch, including features like Stories, Alerts, and the Guest Star feature. He also previewed Twitch’s future development and announced more updates, including improvements to Stream Together, Shared Viewership and Ad Manager, AutoMod, and more.

- Twitch Rivals: With tournaments for games like Apex Legends and Minecraft, the importance of gaming on Twitch has been highlighted.
- VR Demo: Attendees had the opportunity to experience a VR demo of Meta Quest 3, including a gameplay preview of Asgard’s Wrath 2.
- TwitchCon LAN: In collaboration with Alienware, attendees were able to test the new Aurora R16 desktop and other devices.
TwitchCon also highlighted the importance of diversity and inclusion on the platform and introduced Unity Guilds, which advocate for underrepresented communities on Twitch.
