Alan Wake 2 releases on Friday 27th October and anticipation is building for another hit game in a year full of them. Developer Remedy Entertainment is very optimistic about the Supernatural sequel, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it for ourselves.
However, some fans expressed concern about the game’s technically impressive performance, particularly on consoles, where Alan Wake 2 was designed as a “30 frames-per-second experience with a focus on graphics and atmosphere”. Performance mode will be available for players who prefer it, but Remedy’s communications director Thomas Buha still felt the need to address the concerns, writing the following:
“People are worried about the console version of AW2… and I’m laughing. Like I said, we’ve been paying a lot of attention and focusing on consoles. I think most of you will be very pleasantly surprised.”
