Just in time for Halloween, Mega Cat Studios has announced their latest venture: a puzzle platformer with maze-like proportions, due out tomorrow. Kickstarter Will start!
(Pittsburgh, PA) – Mega Cat is heating up the oven in the studio! Just in time for the Halloween season, they’re introducing a very special puzzle platformer for the NES – and it promises to be a real flavor experience. The Meeting is launching its Kickstarter campaign on Friday, October 27, 2023 and we can’t wait!
In “The Meeting,” you play the Minotaur, a former gladiator whose search for love leads him straight to the cutting board. But Gyros, the Greek god of flesh, took pity on him and gave him a second chance. As the Ghost Minotaur, Con returns to 40 platforming levels using a variety of ghost powers, collecting pieces of flesh and solving mysteries to his tragic end.
We caught up with grill design master Andrew Marsh at Mega Cat Studios and he enthusiastically explained, “This is a premium cut of meat we’re cooking here. Well-aged and grilled to perfection – all that’s left are the finishing touches before it’s ready to serve!” This certainly sounds like exciting news for all retro gaming fans!
Backers on Kickstarter can look forward not only to the game, but also to some tempting extras – including a limited Wagyu edition cartridge, Nintendo Switch codes, posters and more.
