There’s good news for all bargain hunters: pre-orders for Metroidvania platform adventure “Worldless” by Thunderful and Noname Studios are now open with a 10% discount on all console platforms. In addition, a previously unannounced “Deluxe Edition” of the game was released, which included the game as well as the soundtrack. The soundtrack consists of 12 songs by Berlinist, Bagun and Jamie Bermudez, created in collaboration with Nonam Studio, creating an atmospheric, sometimes dark and melancholy sound world. Worldless will be released on November 21st for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch and will cost $19.99/€19.99/£15.98 for the Standard Edition (available now on consoles with a 10% pre-order discount), while the Deluxe Edition will retail for $24.99 and includes the soundtrack Available November 21st for $9.99.
“Worldless” is a stylized Metroidvania platformer with a unique turn-based combat system complemented by real-time action elements combining defense and attack. A complex skill tree expands combat encounters and opens up new ways to explore the game’s atmospheric world.
The plot of “Worldless” takes place at a time when the rules of existence are still undefined. In this abstract setting, players discover entities with opposing goals. One side insists on the merits of its nature, the other seeks its downfall. This inevitably leads to conflict as they fight to overcome, and you’ll find yourself in that battle to interpret the game’s mystical narrative and its themes of growth and understanding for yourself.
