Recently the company dedicated to artificial intelligence, OpenAI, had a fairly strong layoff, this is Sam Altman, who brought a rather interesting approach to the company during his time as CEO. And while the board of directors thought it would be the right move to take, it seems most employees disagree with this sudden step in changing attitudes.
In a new letter from 505 people who work there, it threatened to resign from the big command, noting that important changes are needed so that everything can return to peace and tranquility before the total disaster. Among the demands, they mentioned that they first want the resignation of the board of directors who have not contributed anything, after which they should be reinstated. Sam Altmanwho represents the ideal leader figure for many of these individuals.

Here is part of what the letter said:
The process by which they fired Sam Altman and removed Greg Brockman from the board of directors jeopardized all of our work and undermined our mission and company. Their behavior made it clear that they had no jurisdiction to oversee OpenAI.

We, the undersigned, may resign from OpenAI and join the recently announced Microsoft subsidiary led by Sam Altman and Greg Brockman. Microsoft has assured us that this new subsidiary has positions for all OpenAI employees should we decide to join. We will take this action immediately unless all current board members resign and the board appoints two new lead independent directors, including Brett Taylor and Will Heard, and reinstates Sam Altman and Greg Brockman.
It remains to be seen in the coming months whether it can move forward or whether the board admits the error and returns the job high And also Greg Brockman.

Editor’s note: People are certainly upset about what happened on Friday, so it won’t be surprising if executives backtrack on plans in the coming days. We’ll see if they fix the mess they left behind.
