Ransomware operator Rhysida has released limited data supporting its claim that it successfully hacked video game developer Insomniac Games.
Insomniac is known to have won two awards spider man Games and currently Marvel is developing a title based on it Wolverine.
Some details about what’s actually coming Wolverine The game was included in the hack, as a demo screenshot of the game was apparently included in the gang’s hack evidence, along with character art that appears to be linked to other Marvel characters that may appear in the game.
Also included are passport checks that appear to be from Insomniac employees, including at least one former employee who now works at Disney after being fired by the developer two months ago. Another personal document appears to be the voice actor who voices Peter Parker – aka spider man – In the final version of the game, Yuri Lowenthal.
Other documents submitted as evidence of the hack include internal emails and signed confidential documents.
Rhysida Gang says Insomniac has seven days until the full dataset is released, but is currently holding an auction for the data for a starting price of 50 bitcoins, or just over $2 million.
“With only seven days left, take the opportunity to bid on exclusive, unique and impressive data,” Rhysida said on her leak site.
“Open your wallet and get ready to buy exclusive data. We only sell on one hand, we don’t resell and you are the only owner!
