Fixed an issue with Samsung Galaxy smartphones and Google Play system updates.
In recent months some Galaxy smartphones have had problems and could not install new Google Play system updates. The devices remained on older versions, but Samsung did not say why. However, Samsung seems to have found a solution now and has provided it to the devices.
Regardless, a minor Google Play system update should be available on affected Galaxy devices these days, bringing you up to date. Galaxyclub Reports about the Galaxy S22, S23, Z Fold 5, A34 or A53, which may be updated again. But not all devices can be updated yet.
A negative example is the Galaxy S20 Ultra, which is still dated May 2023 and has yet to receive a new update. Hopefully this will change in the coming days. We can be sure that Samsung is actively working on it now.
