Google seems to be responding to user feedback and is planning a significant innovation for the third generation of the Pixel Watch: the smartwatch is expected to be available in two different sizes. According to 9to5Google, Google wants to better respond to user preferences.
While the second generation of the Pixel Watch has some internal improvements, such as an improved heart rate sensor, the exterior remains largely unchanged. With the Google Pixel Watch 3 we can expect a somewhat consistent design this year, as the manufacturer is likely planning two sizes.
Compared to the competition
It is not yet known how big the new model will be. Compared to competitors like Samsung and Apple, who already offer smartwatches in different sizes, Google also now seems to have picked up on the trend. The current model, the Pixel Watch 2, is 41 millimeters in diameter. Other models, eg Apple Watch Ultra 2 (Test) or Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Offer 47 or 49 mm diameter.

Compatibility and Availability
An important detail that is still unclear concerns the compatibility of the bracelets. Due to case extensions, existing bracelets from previous models may no longer fit.
