The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to appear soon – here’s what we know about the specs so far.
The rumor mill has been churning for months, and now there are growing indications that Xiaomi will soon unveil its new flagship smartphone. Apparently it’s only a matter of weeks until the official presentation of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
A post by Xiaomi’s president suggests that the flagship smartphone should hit the market by the end of February, coinciding with the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. 14 Ultra has now appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database. These are strong indications that Xiaomi is about to launch its next flagship model.
Top shelf hardware, like every year
What can we expect from the new flagship? It will supposedly be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which promises the highest possible performance at the moment. A generous 16GB of RAM should be there to be able to run even the most demanding apps and games smoothly. Android 14 is expected to be used as the operating system.
The remaining specifications are also based on high level. Rumors range from a bright 1440p quad-curved display to an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and satellite communications. Xiaomi places particular importance on having probably four 50 MP cameras in the room. Last but not least, there is talk of 80W wireless charging.
In the Geekbench benchmark, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra scored 9,317 points in the single-core test and 26,523 points in the multi-core test. Surprisingly, the older version of Geekbench 4 was used. Accordingly, the values are not necessarily the same Those of Xiaomi 13 Ultra (1,424/5,398 points with Geekbench 6).
