The story surrounding the Pixel 9 series takes a surprising turn.
Is it the start of a new portfolio that we didn’t necessarily expect? Pixel smartphones had a regular version and an XL version with a larger display and battery They later offered a Pro model that was larger and better equipped at the same time. There is one more change from the Pixel 9 series.
As one of the best sources has now revealed, Google is probably planning two versions of the Pixel 9 Pro. With a smaller screen and an XL version. It would then be much more similar to Apple’s portfolio, which offers the better Pro in two sizes. If you want a full camera but prefer a smaller display, don’t go for the highest version.
3 model plans, or more?
It now appears that the regular Pixel 9 will still only have two cameras. The second model with a smaller screen will be the new Pixel 9 Pro with three cameras, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL is a version with a larger screen (probably a direct successor to the Pixel 8 Pro).
So… it appears #Google I actually leaked the phone in January #Pixel9Pro And which will probably be marketed as #Pixel9ProXL.
And today comes your very 1st appearance #Pixel9 (360° Video + 5K Render + Dimensions)

To truly complete the portfolio, we now need a regular Pixel 9 with a larger screen so that the consumer has a complete choice. We’re still seven months away from the Pixel 9 series, so a lot can happen between now and then.
The new portfolio currently looks like this:
- Pixel 9 (smaller screen)
- Pixel 9 Pro (smaller screen)
- Pixel 9 Pro XL (larger screen)
