ChatGPT, OpenAI’s viral AI-powered chatbot, just got a major upgrade.
OpenAI announced today that premium ChatGPT users – customers who pay for ChatGPT Plus, Team or Enterprise – can now benefit from an updated and improved version of GPT-4 Turbo, which powers the ChatGPT conversation experience.
According to OpenAI, this new model (“gpt-4-turbo-2024-04-09”) brings improvements in writing, math, logical thinking, and programming, as well as a more modern knowledge base. It was trained on publicly available data up to December 2023, unlike the previous version of GPT-4 Turbo, which was available on ChatGPT and had a deadline of April 2023.
“Writing time with chatgpt [with the new GPT-4 Turbo]Answers will be more direct, less jargon, and use more conversational language,” OpenAI wrote in a post on X.
