Several years have passed since the release of the last video game in the franchise. ofAnd we must cancel transcriberBecause at the end of the day it was just a remaster that came for the people who started on the story Automata. With this in mind, there has been talk of news in recent days, including that the next futuristic style game with fights between small and giant androids will return sooner than we can imagine.
Dr. through an interview in the newspaper FamitsuProducer of the franchise Yosuke Saitohinted that the next game in the series may already be in development, with the apparent collaboration of the two great figures of this story, Yoko Taro and Keiichi Okabe. Noted that more announcements would be coming in the coming days, and hinted with a light smile that it might of or may not be of.

I’ve been talking about wanting to do something with Yoko and Okabe for a while.
I have more details to say in the not too distant future, so stay tuned. It might be Nier, it might not be Nier. (Laughs.) That’s all I can say now.

Author’s Note: It would be nice if Nier’s story continues with a new release, but I’m not sure if they’ll be unreleased characters or reruns of popular characters from 2B, 9S and A2, since an anime recently came out.
