When a video game is released pc There will be a side effect that usually cannot be avoided, and that is the creation of mods, which are free for all users who want to give a different touch to the games available in the library e.g. steam. It happened just last year Mortal Kombat 1In which came unofficial fighters from several famous franchises, viz Shrek, Disney, SpongebobAmong others that were created solely to generate laughter from the community.
Actually a channel Youtube to call Toasted shoesIt became popular for doing videos of different fighters of brands that were previously considered unimaginable, and it even flooded the account with subscribers and likes so that the videos were constantly being shared on the platform. And this created problems for channel owners, since it seems that for property owners, Warner Bros., They don’t think that such changes have been made to the main characters.
through your account Twitter, the user noted that he had received threats from the intellectual property owner, stating that they were trying to destroy his channel. Here is his message:

Warner Bros threatened to destroy my channel YouTube And I don’t know what to do.
This morning I received a copyright infringement notice directly from Warner Bros. stating that the Mortal Kombat modifications to my content “infringe” their intellectual property rights. They asked me to remove all Mortal Kombat 1 videos from my channel or else they would issue a copyright strike and basically delete my channel completely.
For over 6 months, the people at Warner Bros. have had no problem changing the game and the game. @noobde He shared numerous videos and clips of the mod praising them. My mod clips have over a billion views across all platforms, allowing me to bring attention to the game and support the team of developers I work with.
My team of modders work with me part and full time and the income from these videos pays them. They are unable to respond to emails sent to me directly from Warner Bros. So I have no way of contacting Warner Bros. or finding them to be in violation of copyright. I seem to be the only content creator that Warner Bros. has sent to them. Because of all these, I am now forced to delete all videos from my channel. It’s not what I wanted to do but I guess I have no choice. There’s not much else I can do right now, so feel free to retweet to get Warner Bros. attention.
It’s worth mentioning that as of now the channel is still active, but some videos have had to be made private due to copyright infringement notices, which will come from a company directly associated with Warner who wants to take down the videos. So the user sent a message to fans to share it, so that the official account of the owners of the game could speak, and so far there has been no response on the networks.

Author’s Note: It’s surprising that Warner did this, since they usually don’t have a problem with such changes. In fact, it even works to promote the game on the PC version.
