Amidst the Summer Game Fest announcements, a new trailer has been released hyper light breaker, Where they’re betting on a co-op experience that will appeal to those who love this type of shooter title. Added to that there is early access to the route in the summer for those who want to try it.

From Heart Machine, the award-winning team behind the critically acclaimed titles Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash, comes Hyper Light Breaker, a new co-op rogue-lite adventure set in the beloved Hyper Light Drifter universe. Hyper Light Breaker is a new installment in the Hyper Light franchise, with a unique story fully realized in 3D for the first time. Set decades before Drifter, Hyper Light Breaker casts you in the role of Breaker, a mercenary force tasked with breaking into the overgrowth. Using a combination of fast-paced hack-and-slash combat, ranged weapons and gadgets, players can expect to fight and explore a wide range of procedurally generated open worlds. Although you begin your journey trying to help the settlement, it’s clear that something sinister is lurking in this long-forgotten land. Only through tenacity and rigorous exploration can you uncover the dark truths of Crowns, the Abyss King, and this brutal and terrifying new landscape. Players can choose to play alone or with friends to explore the open world, create new buildings, overcome forces and defeat Crowns and Abyss Kings.
