Tesla makes cool electric cars, robots, and another company owned by Elon Musk sends rockets into space and has satellite internet. Tesla is currently being linked by analysts to its own phones as a problem with other manufacturers as well.
Now Elon Musk has already publicly commented on this twice and considers the rumors rather cold. But he doesn’t bury the matter entirely. As for Tesla building its own phone, Musk commented: “We can, but hopefully it won’t be necessary.”
Tesla will be, another phrase from Musk, relies on its own technology stack and therefore not on a modified Android. Tesla is currently working with Apple and also with Nothing, so having your own smartphone doesn’t really seem necessary. But somehow we will prepare for it, right?
