Google is promoting its AI features on Pixel devices ahead of the next big update.
Artificial intelligence is already being used in Pixel smartphones and more will be added soon with the new “Google AI”. But Google already has some useful tips for everyday life that can help AI on Android phones Spoiler: Not everything is available to us yet.
- Gemini: This personal assistant can scan English-language websites and generate a quick summary of key points in seconds. Access Gemini from the navigation bar or activate it with your voice commands.
- Audio Magic Eraser: Remove unwanted background noise from your videos to hear yourself better. You can find this function in Google Photos under “Edit” and then “Audio”.
- Circle to Search: Circle a video, image or text on your screen to get more information about it without switching between apps. To do this, press and hold the navigation bar and mark the desired area.
- Proofread with Gboard: The Gboard keyboard app corrects typos, grammar, and punctuation errors before sending your text messages. To do this, tap the “Fix it” chip in the suggestion bar
- Document Scanner: Create digital PDF documents from paper copies using your Pixel smartphone’s camera. Open Google Drive, tap New, then tap Scan to begin.
- Cough and snoring detection: Your Pixel can track the sounds you make while you sleep and let you know if you cough or snore regularly at night. Enable this feature in Settings under Digital Wellbeing and Bedtime Mode
As mentioned, not all of it is available to us yet. Currently, all of Gemini’s shorthand functions are still missing, be it Chrome or Gmail. GBoard’s AI functions aren’t available to us yet, but Samsung has already taken a few steps forward with its keyboard app.
