A few days ago the companies NIS America and Falchom published to us Ys X: The Nordics, a role-playing game from a franchise that has been slowly consolidating over time, its games have become relatively popular on previous generation and current consoles in recent years. And now, this new installment already has its release date for those who are interested in playing it on day one.
With a new trailer, it’s confirmed that RPG enthusiasts will be able to play the entire title from scratch October 25 this year, with mechanics that perhaps go a little out of the ordinary when we talk about this type of adventure from Japan, since everything here is driven by pure action. Added to this are new mechanics that will surprise those who already know the franchise.

The trip takes place in the northern islands collectively known as Obelia Bay.
In this harsh land, young explorer Adol Christine encounters the Normans, a seafaring people, and is quickly drawn into conflict between them, the inhabitants of Obelia Bay, and Grigor, an eternal monster with a mysterious agenda.
Working with the Norman warrior Curja, Adol must enter the waters of Obelia Bay, navigate vast expanses of sea, consult sea charts, and even engage in naval battles with enemy ships.
This latest title in the Ys series takes us to a young idol as he sets sail on the high seas. Join him on his quest for the thrill of adventure!
