Nexon has responded to claims that The First Descendant’s icons are too similar to Destiny 2’s icons.
Earlier this week, players noticed a surprising number of similarities between the tokens and weapons used in the new free-to-play sci-fi shooter The First Descendant and Destiny 2 .
In response to Forbes, which originally raised the issue, Nixon Publishing said it “takes the concerns raised seriously” and will ensure that “images that may resemble us will not be published.” [to Destiny 2] It clearly reflects individual identity [its] Spill”.
“As a looter shooter, The First Descendant was created with deep affection and respect for other games in the genre,” Nexon said in a statement.

“We have taken the concerns raised seriously and have decided to make adjustments to ensure that images that may appear similar clearly reflect the game’s unique identity. We will continue to improve the game for fans of the looter-shooter genre.”

Destiny 2 developer Bungie recently disabled rewards generated in private Crucible games due to an “issue”.
While the studio hasn’t revealed exactly what the issue is, Destiny 2 players believe it’s related to a bug that allows players to collect full sets of items and consumables in private matches, even if they’re not on their console/PC.
