A month before the official unveiling, there are new leaks from Google about the upcoming Pixel 9 series. Things will be different this time as Google is relying on more devices and consolidating its portfolio. It also names the new model, which also reveals the plans for us.
An important point: after the testing of the first Pixel Fold, which was not completely up to date, the second generation will be at a completely different level. It will be so good that it can compete with a Pro-Pixel, only in foldable form. So the new model will be called the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the new certification shows (via Mysmartprice).
It also introduces the name of the second new model. While the regular Pixel 9 Pro will retain the name of its predecessors but have a smaller display, there is a new variant with a larger screen area. Google probably calls it the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The smaller Pro is new, but the larger version has a new name.
