We are only a short time away from finally reaching the console and pc Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fate Divided, a roguelike style game featuring these popular characters back in their glory years, and it’s not the only game launching in the coming days. Added to this are rumors that there is another film in the works by those who have already shaped it Mutant Mayhem last year
With its launch so close, some media outlets have reached out super evil megacorp, Developers, and they asked Tom Westall About his motivation to create this project. Very popular names have jumped likes Hadeseven dead cells, So it’s clear what kind of game it is. Added to this are some more unknown titles that still have a touch of this random element Dungeon crawler.

Being compared to a game as amazing as Hades is a great compliment, thanks! Hades in particular opened our eyes to how roguelikes can tell epic stories that evolve over time and is considered a masterpiece by many for this reason. In particular, we felt we could bring our expertise in social gaming to see how we could innovate in this space.
The company has huge roguelike fans and we definitely get inspiration from their games. Games like Dead Cells and Slay the Spire have changed the way many of us think about how many years and hours a roguelike can put in.
Another title that really inspired us was Children of Morta. It was a game purely about family, something that the TMNT franchise has always prioritized above all else. We think Splintered Fate is a great addition to the genre, with many familiar systems but also innovations in co-op that fans are really going to enjoy.
