Xiaomi has to do without HyperOS innovation on some “old” models.
The new HyperOS doesn’t seem so new at first glance, but some changes affect the user interface as well. A new system is probably being used, which changes the visual experience. That creates more work for the GPU, which can put extra strain on the battery.
This factor is said to be responsible for Xiaomi’s implementation of enhanced textures in the 12th generation. Optical effects are said to shorten battery life significantly, we’re talking 10 percent or more. The smooth running of the system was negatively affected.
So there is despite HyperOS no “Enhanced textures” for Xiaomi 12 smartphones. Which, again, is good if we consider the developers “care”. It is important to Xiaomi that its smartphones perform well, thereby satisfying customers.
