We can only hope that the beta comes with at least fewer bugs.
With OneUI 7, Samsung apparently plans a whole series of improvements to its Android interface. The next version will be based on Android 15, which Pixel users can already test out.
But Samsung fans are still looking to the tube. Historically speaking, now is the time for the South Korean manufacturer to release at least one beta version, in the first half of August. As a well-known leaker claims to have learned, Galaxy users will have to wait longer than usual.
Ice Universe does it on x Short and painless: “One UI 7 beta latest status: No plans yet to launch it in the near future.”
Unfortunately, we don’t find out in the leak what that means and how long the “near future” will last. And why – we can only guess. The rollout of the OneUI 6 beta didn’t go well, with reports “left and right” on Reddit after several more beta updates.
Let’s hope OneUI 7 doesn’t make the same start if Samsung gives itself more time to develop. But you shouldn’t be too far behind Google. But they’re apparently just as late with Android 15.
