Samsung is introducing a new “ProScalar” for its smartphone displays

AI is a huge topic and certainly at Samsung too. They have some exclusive deals with Google, for example so that new Gemini features are available on Galaxy first. But they’ve also worked on some of their own functions, including the new ProScaler. This feature seems to use AI calculations to widen and improve the quality of the screen.

“Thanks to the bright display with ProScaler, your images look vibrant. “Enjoy sharp images and vivid colors on a large screen that brings out details,” reads the text describing the new feature. Samsung emphasizes that the comparison is with the new S25 Ultra’s predecessor, the Galaxy S24. was done with Ultra.
