Amazon’s Prime Day doesn’t normally revolve around Apple products, but that’s clearly not the case for 2020. The internet retailer has a sale on Apple’s AirPods Pro earbuds for $199, or $50 off their usual price.
We found Apple’s AirPods Pro to be a good deal even before the sale. The true wireless buds have a much better fit compared to earlier AirPods, and the active noise canceling makes them a better pick for silencing the outside world. They’re sweat-resistant, too, making them a better pick for home workouts than the originals.
They’ve also improved in the year since their arrival. An update in September added spatial audio for immersive videos and fast switching between Apple devices. The AirPods Pro are still best-suited to people invested in the Apple ecosystem and won’t be quite as compelling if you’re using Android. Even so, they’re an easy pick if you want quality sound without cables.

If you prefer something that isn’t made by Apple, don’t worry. There are plenty of alternatives on sale, so you can find the all-wireless buds that meet your needs if the AirPods Pro don’t spark interest.
