Edelkrone has released their new QuickRelease ONE v2. This is a follow up to, you guessed it, the original QuickRelease ONE that was announced way back in 2015.
QuickRelease ONE v2, just like the original, is a universal quick release system that enables you to attach your camera to anything and then release it just as quickly.

Edelkrone QuickRelease ONE
There is not a massive difference between the original QuickRelease ONE and v2. The newest version is lighter and stronger, and although it shares a similar design, Edelkrone has made some minor modifications.

There are now two levers as well as a new ribbed design. Both of these additions are claimed to provide a better, stronger grip.

The 1/4″-20 screw is a common part of most camera baseplates. The
QuickRelease ONE v2 takes advantage of this and that is what allows it to be used on so many camera plates.
Competition

There are a ton of quick-release systems out there in the market. The Edelkrone’s closest competition probably comes from the ifootage SEASTARS Q1 QUICK RELEASE.
Price & Availability
The QuickRelease ONE v2 costs $99 USD. It is now available to order. At $99 USD this makes it $20 USD more than the ifootage SEASTARS Q1 QUICK RELEASE.
