Venus Optics has announced its latest lens, the 20mm F4 ‘Zero-D’ Shift lens.
This manual wide-angle shift lens offers minimal distortion and shifts +/- 11mm on full-frame camera systems, allowing you to control the perspective for architectural and real estate photographs.
The lens is constructed of 16 elements in 11 groups, including two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements. It features a 14-blade aperture diaphragm, has an aperture range of F4 through F22, uses an 82mm front filter thread and has a 25cm (9.8 “) minimum focusing distance.
Venus Optics is kicking off this lens by releasing it for eight mounts at launch, including Canon EF and RF, Nikon F and Z, Sony E, Pentax K, L mount and Fujifilm G mount (via an adapter). The lens measures roughly 95mm (3.7 “) in diameter by 91mm (3.6”) long and weighs roughly 747g, although the exact dimensions will vary depending on the mount you get the lens in.
