Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 was relaunched in 2018, in contrast to the LG V40 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The phone is no longer receiving OS updates, but that hasn’t stopped Samsung from issuing security patches for the device.
Now, Sammobile The Galaxy Note 9 is now getting the May 2022 security patch. This update has reportedly corrected more than a dozen security bugs.
The update, which carries the firmware version N960FXXS9FVE1, has reportedly been pushed to Germany and will be coming to more European countries in the next few days.
With the return of Android 10 in 2020, Samsung’s phone is no longer getting the Android version update. But we’re still glad to see regular security patches coming to the device, this latest update is the fifth patch on the Galaxy Note. 9 in the last six months.
