Last month our Xbox and Game Pass community entertained us all as they headed for the Pigeon High Pinnacle Dove. No Man’s Sky Outlook Update and Blight Expeditions. It was a pleasure to watch their first solar sail ship and try to add one of these spectacular crafts to their fleet.
Today marks the beginning of our seventh expedition. It’s called Leviathan, and true to form, we’re mixing things up again and bringing something more risky for you, but also with big rewards.
As the name implies, Leviathan is an expedition beast. Travelers must use all their survival skills as they help expert Polo unravel the mystery of a curious loop that has cursed space-time continuity. He suspects that this strange phenomenon could be found near Leviathan, an amazing, near-mythical space creature, but would need community help to fully understand and lift the curse.
In their efforts to assist Polo in his research, players side by side with deaths on multiple occasions, but, in a rogue-like style, each death allows players and their fellow adventurers to contribute to the community’s efforts and bring uplift. The curse is never near.
Each rebirth resets some distinct progress but travelers have the opportunity to start anew with a systematically generated starting loadout whose quality only improves as the community effort builds up, such as the rewards offered for starting this adventure.
The Whalestacker Clock, a mini organic frigate for player base and a Temporal Starship Trail are some of the spoils found along the way, ending with the final prize, the first live frigate – an interesting tent and spectacular animal – to add to their cargo fleet.

Elsewhere on the team, work is underway for more content updates, and we can’t wait to see what’s in our work. The Leviathan expedition begins today and will last about 6 weeks.
