Hello PlayStation fans! We have an exciting new update for our free editing app Share Factory Studio for PS5. We’ve worked hard to bring you our brand new feature called Beats, and it’s starting today.
Beats is a simple way to personalize and share your gameplay clips and screenshots with your friends on the PS5. Choose one of many curated bit styles to quickly create your own version of a familiar or trending meme. If you have your own ideas for a while, use the easy quick edit mode to realize your vision. Either way, the new easy edit mode is ideal for both new and pro editors.
Bits is also the perfect companion for the recently released game capture feature in the PS app. The bits you create in Share Factory Studio can be automatically accessed from your phone and then shared on your favorite social apps.
The new bit editing experience includes the following features:
- A brand new editing mode with all the editing features that can be added to your bit and quick and easy access to new content.
- Ability to create bite-sized entertainment that ranges from short three-second rebounds to one-minute custom bits.
- New bit styles that will be updated regularly from our Beats Live service. The bit style will be refreshed based on the content of weekdays, special events, holidays, seasons and trends.
- Brand new set of animated stickers that includes word and even text personalization options.
- A new doodle feature that allows you to create freeform doodles using a dualsense wireless controller.
- A new voiceover feature with the ability to add filters that change your voice in your voice recording.
With Beats, our goal is to make it easy and fun to create and share small gameplay videos for PlayStation gamers to share great achievements, jokes, stunts and any other kind of dazzling content. Some of our personal favorite bits include Taco Tuesday, Sitcom Ending, Get Well Soon, and of course – Oh No Laugh.
Share Factory Studio is available for free to all PlayStation players. If you haven’t yet installed Share Factory Studio, you can use the search feature in your PlayStation main menu to find and install the app.
