(Pocket-Lint) – If you use Facebook and Instagram, you’ve probably seen all your friends share Pixar-style cartoon selfies. It’s all thanks to a new viral app called Voila AI Artist, which takes less than five minutes to download and create your first animated photo. Here’s what you need to know, including how to use the app and whether there are any options available
What is Voila AI Artist?
A photo editor app for Voila iOS And Android. It lets you upload a photo of a face or capture a photo of a face Then, using some kind of artificial intelligence, it turns the photo into something that looks like a cartoon character. Technically, it has four manipulation modes: 3D cartoon, renaissance painting, 2D cartoon and caricature. 3D cartoon mode is the most popular.
Once you select and apply a mode, you can choose from three different filters available. For example, under 3D Cartoons, you can choose between Royalty 3D, Baby 3D and Cartoon 3D. A fourth Voila option combines three filters with your original upload in a collage view. You will not be able to edit any other image, including adjusting eyes, face or hair, or playing with color or contrast.
If you want to test the awesome AI artist in celebrity photos, you don’t need to go to Google search. The app has a celebrity image search feature, so if you ever want to see what Kim Kardashian would look like as a West Disney princess, you can now.
Once you’re happy with your photo, you can share it on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and anywhere else You can save it on your device.
How To Cartoon Yourself With Viola AI Artist

Remember, with the free version, you’ll see long full-screen ads (one or two, usually) after uploading almost every image. The premium layer, Voila Pro, not only removes these ads but also removes the watermark and speeds up the rendering process.
On Android, Voila Pro costs 2 per week, $ 4 per month, or $ 21 per year. On iOS, it’s 3 per week, $ 6 per month, or $ 30 per year (as of June 2022). That option also includes a free, three-day trial.

Does Voila AI Artist collect your data?
We scan the privacy statement. The parent company of the app promises that the app will delete your photos 24 to 48 hours after the last use of the photo. Voila collects personally identifiable information, such as your phone and your activity online, to be shared with third party partners and advertisers in your country (including advertisers who can track your activity across the web).
