2022 will be a year to remember. Throughout the first six months we have seen various games that deserve to win the GOTY this time around, viz Elden Ring. Although there is still one semester left in the year, the Develop: Star Awards, a European event, was held recently, where The horizon forbids the west Awarded as Game of the Year.
That’s right, the Develop: Star Awards took place on July 13. Unlike other events, this event considers its release from July to June, not January to December. Thus, The list of nominees was created with some titles from 2021 and others from 2022. In the Game of the Year category, OlliOlli World, Sifu, Unpacking, Forza Horizon 5 y The horizon forbids the west Competition did, but at the end of the day, Guerrilla Games’ work was the grand prize.

This was not all for PlayStation, as Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Best Technical Innovation won. In the list of awardees Deathloop As the best original IP; Life is Strange: True Colors In the Best Narrative category; Best Game Design went Unpacking; y Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was recognized in the Best Audio category.
