[Actualización] Check out the remake of Alone in the Dark

It was confirmed long ago THQ Nordic acquired the right to vote alone in the dark, which hasn’t had a new installment in quite some time. And now, just before the official presentation of a company event, it seems that the existence of the next project that will be a remake has been leaked.

The leak was made by a French video game store, detailing the synopsis of the title as well as the covers of the various versions that will arrive on consoles and PC. The development piece will run from interactive, and publishing they have THQIt’s similar to what happened with a remake spongebob Squarepants: The Battle for the Bikini Bottom.

That is also mentioned Mikael Hedberg (Amnesia, Soma), he will be the one who rewrites the original script, so that the narrative part fits our time, and the experience he brings with him has given him this position. For its part, the core premise of characters stuck in a mansion will remain intact, so fans will be happy.

It’s worth that alone in the dark was a forerunner of survival horror releases, serving as a clear inspiration for other games such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill. However, the character’s perspective will now be third-person over the shoulder, so it can be taken from an action title RE4 o Gears of War.
