Forge of Empires, InnoGames’ award-winning strategic city-builder, allows players to build cities that will last from the Stone Age to the modern age. In this year’s Summerfest, players will sail the seven seas, encounter pirates and earn rewards along the way. The event runs from 1st to 21st September this year.
The event is run by Jane and the governor of Forge Island, who have various quests to complete. For this, players are rewarded with gold doubloons. These shiny coins can be spent on spins of the infamous Wheel of Fortune. Players can choose to spin the wheel for an existing prize to be displayed, or take the risk and update the wheel before spinning; New rewards will be released, but will they be better than the previous ones?
Spins and wheel refreshes are available to all players in a neighborhood, adding an extra element of excitement to the event. Prizes may disappear due to other winners, or the prize pool may be completely refreshed after an update, so timing is of the essence.
Each spin awards players with a compass that can be used to navigate to treasure chests. A compass randomly allows the player to advance one, two or three nautical miles, bringing them closer to a prize, including this year’s grand prize – the Buccaneer’s Boathouse.
Buccaneer’s Boathouse is a unique building spanning 11 levels, and has two final levels that players can choose from: Buccaneer’s Boathouse or Dead Man’s Boathouse. Both buildings offer Happiness, Population, Coins, Medals, Goods, Defense and Attack, as well as new Buccaneer’s Bounties or Dead Man’s Bounties: reward chests filled with additional forge points and resources.
Having traveled the seven seas and won numerous awards, the Summer Festival is the latest in a long line of beautifully designed events at Forge of Empires.
