Curved monitor with unusual features
ASRock’s latest gaming monitor has an unexpected feature: in addition to a curved screen with WQHD resolution and 165 Hz, the PG34WQ15R2B is equipped with an integrated WLAN antenna.
ASRock’s Phantom series has two models, PG34WQ15R2B and PG27FF1A. The top model with the former 34 incheswhose VA panel has a radius of 1.5 m curved have and with 3,840 x 1,440 pixels (WQHD) Dissolve As a high-end gaming monitor, it achieves a refresh rate 165 Hertz and one millisecond reaction time (MPRT). VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard, 91 percent DCI-P3 and 115 percent sRGB color space coverage as well as AMD FreeSync promises color-rich and interference-free picture quality.

The PG34WQ15R2B makes a special stir Integrated WLAN antenna. Although it still requires a WLAN module in the PC, it should bring an increased performance gain of 7 dBi. The monitor’s signal is stronger than if it were placed on the mainboard, i.e. under the desk.

Additional features include two speakers and DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and headphone connectivity. The second model in the bunch, PG27FF1A, turns out to be much easier with a flat 27-inch IPS panel and Full HD resolution, but at least 165 Hz and 1 ms MPRT. A WLAN antenna is not included here, but this monitor is much cheaper:
US dealer Newig The ASRock PG34WQ15R2B carries $430, while the 27-inch Full HD variant PG27FF1A costs $190. Both models are not yet available in Germany.
