modernization [Mon 19th Sep, 2022 09:20]: Publisher Live Wire has released an update regarding the disappearance of the Radiant Silvergun from the North American eShop.
The company said the game was removed from the digital storefront because “the product’s rating changed,” which is what happened with Mushihimesama last year. Live Wire has submitted the new dates to the product board and is awaiting a response, but expects to resume sales on September 20 (PT), although it confirmed that the exact date and time have not been set.

Hours after the live broadcast, players took to Twitter to express their concern when they couldn’t find the game on the eShop. The trailer has also been made private or removed from YouTube
The port’s publisher – Live Wire – issued a very brief statement on Twitter acknowledging the issue, but the reason for its removal is unclear.
“Currently, the Radiant Silvergun is not available in North America. We will reply quickly. We’ll let you know when it’s available for purchase.”
This isn’t the first time a Live Wire game has been suddenly removed from the eShop. Mochihinsma It was removed from the European eShop shortly after its release last year due to an age classification error, but reappeared the following month:
As for Radiant Silvergun, some players have reported that the port has some issues, including music not playing frequently, but no official reason has been given for removing the game. Thankfully, the game is still available on the Japanese and European eShops.
