After 2021 we saw the premiere of the anime Tokyo AvengersFans of Ken Wakui’s work have been waiting for the return of this adaptation, which will happen next January 2023. However, there is news today that may not please you, as Disney has got the rights to broadcast this anime.
As part of an announcement of the presentation focusing on the Asia-Pacific market, it was revealed that Second season Tokyo Avengers will air on Disney+. In Asia, this is the only platform where you can enjoy the arc known as Christmas Showdown.
Although there are no details about the rest of the world at the moment, Disney has a habit of streaming its anime on various platforms, such as Hulu.. It is part of Disney+ and Kodansha’s expanding partnership, which includes the licensing of exclusive anime series based on manga produced by Kodansha.
Now we can only wait and see what happens when this production opens in January 2023.. On a related note, here you can watch the new trailer for the new season of the anime.
Editor’s note:
Disney+ is a good platform, the problem is anime fans already have Crunchyroll, so they probably aren’t excited to get another streaming service to watch an anime. Likewise, considering Bleach’s theme, it’s likely that not everyone will have access to it this season.
