The next few days will be interesting as current Pixel phone owners can look forward to several updates. The focus is of course on the Pixel feature drop, which is a big update for the Pixel phone with lots of new features.
Lots of new features thanks to the Pixel feature drop
While Pixel feature drops are more announcements of innovations, some of which come to devices via app updates, for example, the Quarterly Platform Release (QPR), a complete system update for our devices.
This is the first of three planned quarterly updates coming to Android 13. The beta phase is currently underway. On the one hand, the major update brings a lot of improvements, but on the other hand it provides the basis for the corresponding pixel feature drops every time (December, March, June).
First quarterly update for Android 13
There is also a security patch in December. Google will likely not only plug the security loopholes, but also fix various minor flaws in the Pixel phone Over 80 bugs were fixed last December, mostly for the Pixel 6 series at the time.
New functions planned include, for example, Clear Calling, which is intended to eliminate background noise during telephone calls. Google is planning a new battery indicator and even a new screen that provides information about smartphone battery health. You probably already know from the iPhone.
Pixel 4 drops Android 13
No device Can you rely on the mentioned updates? All Google smartphones since the Pixel 4a (Summer 2020). Although Google has already provided the Pixel 4 with the current Android 13, the next updates that we just described will unfortunately no longer be available.
