Like Xiaomi, Motorola will present its new top model before Christmas. We call it Edge 40 Pro.
Initially, however, the Lenovo subsidiary is focusing on China, where the Edge 40 Pro will be presented and sold first (December 15). It’s called the X40 there, but for the most part it’s probably the same as the local Edge 40 Pro, which will arrive in Europe a little later. An Android smartphone with the latest high-end hardware is planned, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 from Qualcomm.
Leaks from the past few days have already shown the final design:
The Android smartphone is said to bring a special feature to the display, which is likely to be slightly curved on all four sides. While some manufacturers tend to minimize curved displays, Motorola does the exact opposite with the Edge 40 Pro. You won’t miss anything in terms of equipment, with two 50 MP cameras, a large battery and plenty of memory.
