Will it come to Germany in early 2023?
Xiaomi has introduced two new flagship smartphones with the Xiaomi 13 series. Compared to previous models, there should be some improvements. The Pro model in particular looks interesting, as it should put the Xiaomi 12S Ultra in its place.
Admittedly, the launch of the Xiaomi 13 (Pro) was somewhat bumpy: shortly before the originally scheduled presentation date, Xiaomi canceled the presentation. Now the new top smartphones have finally been officially announced. Initially, the 13 series will be available exclusively in China, a Europa-Launch Should follow next year. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed this soon after the announcement via Twitter. With the predecessor, we had to wait about three months for the release in Europe.
The heart of Xiaomi 13 (Pro) is Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which was launched recently. It is an octa-core processor, supported by eight or twelve gigabytes of LPDDR5X RAM. Internal UFS 4.0 storage measures 128, 256 or 512 GB. There is also a 4,820 mAh battery 120 watts per cable or 50 watts wireless can be loaded.
Sitting in front 6.73-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED with a QHD resolution. The refresh rate dynamically adapts to usage behavior, with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. Xiaomi specifies the maximum brightness as 1,900 nits This makes the display about 400 nits brighter than the Xiaomi 12S Pro. Unlike the usual Xiaomi 13, the edges of the display are slightly rounded on the sides.
Triple camera with Leica branding
A highlight of the smartphone probably consists of the triple camera setup Three 50 MP sensors. For the main camera, the manufacturer relies on the one known from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra Sony IMX989 in 1 inch format and f/1.9 aperture. However, it should be much more light-sensitive here. There is also an ultra wide-angle camera with 115 degree FOV and f/2.0 aperture and a telephoto camera with 75mm focal length.
In China, Xiaomi 13 Pro price starts from 5.000 yuan, which makes it slightly more expensive than the Xiaomi 12S Pro. Converted, the price would currently be around 680 euros. However, the device should generally be a bit more expensive in this country. The launch will have black, white, light green and light blue colors. The price of the “small” Xiaomi 13 starts at 4,000 yuan
