Global technology group and AR developer Niantic Socially engaged for five years with a company-wide effort to give back to the global community. These efforts include game development, player engagement, and events and promotions around the world. A new report now shows which humanitarian and economic projects have been supported by Niantic and the community

Because Niantic wants to get involved with effective initiatives for the environment, public space and humanitarian action, collaboration with social partners was expanded this year. On a special Community Day, more than 300,000 trees were planted in biodiverse places around the world, thanks to community support, as part of a sustainability campaign with Ecosia.
