A new leak confirms Pixel 8 and Watch 2 specs with battery

As the October 4 release date approaches, more leaks are emerging detailing Google’s upcoming Pixel 8 series and Pixel Watch 2, with the latest leak revealing more specs and battery size.

The Pixel 8 Pro gets an upgrade to a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. While the Tensor G3 supports UFS 4.0 storage speeds, using the 128GB variant means that Google won’t use UFS 4.0, a faster form of storage that was used in devices like the OnePlus 11 and Galaxy S23. series

Some camera specs are also mentioned, including a 50MP main Samsung GN2 sensor on both devices, a 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor used for the Pixel 8 Pro’s ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP Samsung GM5 on the back with a 5x telephoto lens. The Pixel 8 has a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 sensor for the ultra-wide camera, and both have an 11-megapixel Samsung sensor for the front camera (which is listed as a 10.5-megapixel sensor).

Battery sizes for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are listed at 4,600mAh and 5,100mAh respectively, which means we’ll see a slight increase in both devices.

Some Pixel Watch 2 specs are also mentioned, including a 306mAh battery. This is slightly higher than the 294mAh battery of the first Pixel Watch previously reported. Also, a 1.2-inch OLED display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, as well as numerous health sensors are mentioned.
