Diary: Samsung debuted the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra earlier this year, and they were widely considered among the best high-end phones of 2023. Their sales figures also match the reviews they receive From experts and consumers in general. This is mainly due to the use of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the Galaxy processor, which is a very powerful and very energy efficient processor. No issues with phone overheating, throttling or battery life.
With the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung is once again using the Exynos chipset in the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ in most markets. If the chipset isn’t as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Samsung should expect a lot of problems and customer dissatisfaction. So it remains to be seen how well the Exynos 2400 will perform and whether there will be significant performance, battery life or stability differences for the Galaxy S24 Ultra globally.
