(Alleged) dates for Google Pixel 7, Watch and more


It’s only been a few hours since we last wrote about the Pixel 7 and Co. Devices coming soon. Now have a date.

Of course, this comes from well-informed circles, i.e. from insiders and not officially from Google directly. But the source has been able to prove itself several times recently on the Google Pixel. So we think the source can be trusted. Regardless, the timing announced for the Google Pixel 7 is no surprise.

It is called, Google plans to ship Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro pre-orders before October 6. The devices should then be delivered and available in stores by October 13. The Pixel Watch will be introduced at the same time, but sales may vary.

Details known so far about the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro:

  • 6.3 (90 Hz) and 6.7 inch (120 Hz) OLED displays
  • Google Tensor 2 processor (GS201), probably 4 nm
  • Modem with 5G from Samsung
  • Completely new design for camera bar
  • Camera technology remains almost unchanged
  • 4K selfies and Pro front camera on Pixel 7
  • New sensor for the Pixel 7 Pro’s zoom camera
  • The Pixel 7 is slightly smaller than the Pixel 6
  • Hall sensor for magnetic detection in foldable case

  • Android 13 ab is working
  • Market launch in autumn 2022
