pokemon It’s a large franchise that can’t just be divided into products like video games, as plushies, figures, merchandise, and other items sell widely, and it’s clear that the most expensive collectibles on the market are TCG cards. And these common cards become more expensive over time, especially when they go out of mass production due to the entry of more generations of the franchise in question.
This is why there are people willing to steal these pieces, and then resell them on the internet market for double or triple the price. Here we come to a story that recently developed, involving a 35-year-old man who was attacked by a police officer using his Taser. He was later found guilty of taking $600 USD worth of cards but with their latest collector’s edition.
As noted, a security camera would show that a so-called Ernest Fields was in the process of stealing $679 worth of Pokemon merchandise from Meijer, and an employee who was tracking him reported the type of vehicle he left the store in. This led officers directly to the user, who was allegedly pushed and knocked down while trying to take him into custody.
Fields was seen resisting arrest, only for another police officer to climb over him and punch him repeatedly in the face. Likewise, another agent enters and uses a Taser on Fields to subdue him. During the fight, Fields could be heard yelling that he was sorry and that he couldn’t breathe.
Later they arrested him. And something that stands out is that Cory Elaine Shleifer, the organizing director for Ohio Families Unite for Political Action and Change, said what was captured on the video did not match the police report. Therefore, the relevant investigation will continue. The user has not been captured yet.

Editor’s note: It’s amazing that they attack someone like that by letter, but at least they got the merchandise, because at the end of the day I’m not paying for it. However, punching him in the face and using a Taser when he was already detained doesn’t seem like such a peaceful idea.
