It wasn’t too long ago that HMD wanted to correct us. Nokia as a brand will not be on the verge of extinction. But it was clear for some time that HMD would not renew the license and there would be no more Nokia smartphones or mobile devices in the near future.
That day has now arrived. If you look at the HMD website today, there are no more ads for Nokia smartphones. You can still display these, but no models (XR21, G42, C32 etc.) are available.
Nokia is the last for smartphones, this is the ultimate for real. HMD tried, but nothing was achieved with a world-renowned brand. Nokia is still present in feature phones, but the brand will be phased out here as well, and HMD will rely on its own name.
