According to the statement published by ESET, these two malware-infected apps, once downloaded to your smartphone, were able to steal a lot of personal and sensitive data: telephone contacts, call history, Google account passwords, etc. Additionally, all of this personal information may be sent to a remote server. In other words, The virus takes over everything on the smartphone and sends it to strangerswithout being discovered. And that’s not all: two fake apps managed to access security codes, telephone conversations and even the device’s camera, aiming to record videos without the user’s knowledge.
Currently, experts say that the malware may have originated in China and later spread to Europe. Therefore, the suggestion is to delete them immediately from your smartphone, if they have been downloaded earlier.
