Apple will finally get into the AI game, but a little later than expected.
Apple is already late compared to Android OEMs and seems likely to introduce AI for iPhone a bit later than the new iOS 18 software and new models. Instead of introducing “Apple Intelligence” directly with iOS 18, AI should be decoupled from the rest of the iOS software.
Matching reports According to iPhone AI will probably only come with iOS 18.1, which will appear a little later. But we’re talking early fall, so patience won’t be too much of a strain, and the competition won’t feel “safe” for a really long time.
