Nintendo has issued a notification regarding a bug Super Mario RPG If this happens it can prevent progress.
The glitch can occur after the Paratroopa event in Monstro City. You’ll know something is wrong when the paratroopers don’t show up at Land’s End. The good news is that Nintendo has released a workaround that simply involves going to the Mushroom Kingdom and back to Land’s End.
Nintendo has this to say about the progression bug in Super Mario RPG:
A bug has been found in Super Mario RPG for Nintendo Switch that may prevent you from progressing in the game.
Impurity content
In some cases, after triggering the Paratrooper event in Monster Town, the Paratroopers will not appear when you go to Land’s End, preventing you from progressing in the game.
Solution for errors
If this error occurs, you will need to go to the Mushroom Kingdom and then back to Land’s End. This will result in paratroopers appearing as targets.
Comment:
- There is no need to enter the castle in Mushroom Kingdom. The bug when you enter the town around the castle needs to be fixed.
- It’s a good idea to use the map to travel around the Mushroom Kingdom.
- When returning to Land’s End from the Mushroom Kingdom, you can use the Map or Go to World Map option.
Nintendo also says it will fix the issue permanently with a patch scheduled for December. We will notify you as soon as it is published.
